A signature with OTP (One-Time Password) is a digital signature done by sending a single-use code (only valid to sign a specific document) with temporary validity to the signatory via SMS or email, depending on what is indicated when the signing process is created.
Signing with a OTP has several advantages, including the fact that it is incredibly easy to use. How can you sign with a OTP?
- When you receive a notification that you have a document pending signature, click “View and sign document”.
- Review the document and click “Sign”.
- You will receive a one-time code via email or mobile phone.
- Enter the code in the field that will appear on the platform and click “Sign”.
- The document is signed.
