What is an OTP signature?

The OTP (One-Time Password) signature is a type of advanced digital signature provided for in the eIDAS Regulation, carried out by sending a single-use code to the signatory (i.e. a code that will only be valid for the signature of the specific document for which it has been requested) and is valid for a limited period of time, via SMS or email (depending on the information provided when creating the signature process).
