DOCUTEN will not use your personal data for any other purpose and will store it only for the time needed to comply with our legal obligations, within the legal framework of data protection regulations, information security (ISO 27001 certification), and the provision of trusted electronic services (eIDAS Regulation, among others).

Who Are the Recipients of Your Data?
We do not intend to disclose data to third parties. The only disclosures we might make would be related to performing the contractual relationship (to financial entities, tax authorities, etc.) and to complying with our legal, administrative, and tax obligations, which include periodic audits to which we are subject both as a trust service provider and signature provider, as well as for any of our services, or to verify compliance with our quality and information security standards (ISO 27001), among others.
We may work with external providers who might have access to personal data. We have signed data processing agreements with them to ensure data security and confidentiality. Some of these providers may be located in the USA (especially certain work tools), and we have ensured that we sign agreements that comply with the current legislation (standard contractual clauses) and verify that they offer GDPR-compliant safeguards (e.g., encryption mechanisms).
Our servers are located within the European Union.
We offer the option to use Docuten from Google Docs, which means that when you provide identification data to sign documents, Google also gains access to that data. This information is limited to the name of the signing process, the name and surname of the signers, their email addresses, and in certain cases, their phone number and ID document.

Your rights

We care about information and data security. At Docuten, we hold Information Security certification, based on the requirements of the international standard ISO 27001. This represents the highest level of security assurance and validates the implementation of a Management System that safeguards the information within our organization.
